If there was a way to give a six star rating, I certainly would. Jan Allen is a realtor rock star in my eyes. In the midst of a difficult market, and as interest rates were creeping upwards, she performed some ‘staging magic’. Apparently it worked, as she quickly sold my house and above the asking price! The house was move-in ready, so that certainly helped. But when I saw the pictures on-line with the temporary furnishings, I barely recognized my own house. It looked so big and airy. Also, prior to the listing ‘hitting the street’, Jan worked behind-the-scenes within her broker network to ensure the right realtor colleagues in the area were aware the house would be coming available. In fact, the property received multiple offers by Day Number Two (!) after the listing went ‘live’ while other properties were dropping their prices.
